Vegan panna cotta

A delicious dessert in record time

If you haven’t tried this recipe yet, you don’t know what you’re missing!

This was one of our favourite desserts when we were still drinking milk. We had never made it, but every time we ate out and there was panna cotta for dessert, we ordered it: it was our undoing.

Then it was time to give up many of the things that we liked the most, like this one. And every time we saw it we felt nostalgic.

Until researching when we discovered this recipe: simple, fast and exquisite.

Also, the touch of strawberry with the jam gives it a unique flavour. Do you dare to try it?

Ingredients for 6 servings

  • 200 ml of non-dairy cream
  • 1 cup of non-dairy milk
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 8 grams of agar agar powder
  • Stevia sweetener to taste

Optional toppings

  • Strawberry jam
  • Red fruits to taste

Preparation

Time needed:  15 minutes.

  1. Mix the cream and milk together

  4. Add the pulp and the vanilla seeds. Stir again

  5. Sprinkle the agar agar while stirring until it boils

  6. Lower the heat and bring it to the boil once more

  8. When presenting, add jam, preferably homemade, and decorate to taste with strawberries and red berries

A dessert with difficulty 0

As you can see, this is a dessert that involves very little difficulty and its flavour is totally surprising. Go ahead and try it with different toppings, you will surely love it in many ways.

Make it ahead of time, as it needs to sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours to cool and set.
