We are going to give the stomach a rest by making it easier for the nutrients we eat to reach the blood. How? With this juice that, in addition to being delicious, gives us the properties of some of the most purifying foods there are: celery, cucumber, pineapple and spinach.

If you want to add an extra, you can add flax seeds. Remember to grind them, preferably before using them, to preserve all their properties and prevent oxidation.

If you can’t do this juice immediately before consuming it, store it in an airtight glass bottle in your fridge.

Ingredients

  • 4 celery sticks
  • 3 small cucumbers
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/4 pineapple

The preparation is so easy:

  1. Wash the ingredients well and peel the pineapple

  2. Prepare the ingredients in several pieces to speed up the blending

  3. Blend all the ingredients, combining the spinach with the rest of the food

  4. Add, if desired, ground flaxseeds and stir

As we already mentioned above, this juice will help you cleanse your body of toxins. It will help you feel less bloated and lighter.

Difference between juice and shake

In a shake, we put all the ingredients in the blender glass to crush and beat them. This means that it preserves vitamins and minerals along with the fibre of each food.

In juice, fibre, and solid parts of fruits and vegetables are removed to obtain the properties and enhance their absorption in our cells. In just 20 minutes, the vitamins and minerals from the foods we add to the juice reach our blood, which provides us with an energy bomb.

Similarly, with a juice we allow the stomach to rest. This will help us on many levels, especially if you have eaten too much in the last few days or if you have stomach pain.

Sometimes our stomach screams for a break. Even if we eat healthily, it is advisable to relax it from time to time.

What happens if I make it a shake?

Obviously, nothing happens, you can drink it the same. However, the ingredients in the juices are based on fruit and vegetables and have a higher proportion of vegetables.

It often happens that the vegetable has more fibre and is somewhat harder and less liquid than the fruit. For this reason, if you convert juices into smoothies or shakes without changing the ingredients, you may find that the texture or taste is not pleasant to you (although there is nothing written about taste).
