Preparation

Time required:  30 minutes.

  1. Peel and cook the beetroots

This will take about 20-25 minutes. This step can be done before making the recipe, since they do not need to be hot

  2. Open the chickpea jar, drain and reserve the water

  3. Add all the ingredients in the mixer glass or kitchen robot

Make sure the beetroots have cooled before adding them

  4. Blend all food for one minute at maximum power

  5. Check the salt and lemon for taste

  6. If it is too thick you can add a little filtered water or the reserved water.

  7. Serve and garnish with sesame and coriander seeds

If you do not have the time to cook the beetroots you can add them raw but make sure that they are well chopped in your kitchen robot. Otherwise, when eating the hummus the texture will not be smooth.
